2016 and 2017 found our team in Chinle, Arizona. This small church has grown in leaps and bounds. They have hard-working, dedicated full-time missionaries and local Navajo workers to reach the Navajo Reservation. This small church is dedicated to spreading God’s word. They have some form of outreach virtually every day of the week! One of the big ministries is the AA, NA, and JA (Jesus And Me) meetings they host and hold for the public.

Bryson and Raberta, a young Navajo couple started going to the meetings for the food. They were addicted to drugs and alcohol and Bryson was involved in selling drugs on the Rez, the first to introduce meth years ago. They were a mess, just living for the next fix and barely having enough food to survive. Their initial motivations were shallow as they came to church meetings. But God started to reach their hearts.

The love of the local members and dedicated team drew them to know the true God. Their motivations changed from a hunger for physical food to a hunger for the bread of heaven. God’s Word and His Spirit were changing their lives. The addiction recovery meetings and church meetings kept them away from their alcohol, drugs, old “friends” and gave them a safe place to learn to overcome. They would spend most of all their days at the church property. Bryson shared that he had to be there doing something or he would have relapsed.

When our team went to Chinle in the summer of 2017 we had the privilege of helping nurture and teach this precious couple, who at that point had been free from drugs and alcohol for a few weeks and were integrating into the church. They came every night to the prophecy seminar. Jenni worked hard to help decorate for their wedding on Thursday and then we had the privilege to see them baptized on Sabbath, getting married to Jesus!

When we returned this last summer to do meetings in Window Rock, AZ (the capital of the Navajo nation) we were able to see Bryson and Raberta.

Both looked amazing since they have embraced the health message. They shined with the beauty of Jesus. They have both been helping to lead out in AA, NA, and JA meetings. God is using them and continuing to grow them! Bryson shared that he read his first actual book this last year. Previously he could hardly read. Coming to Christ has changed him inside and out. Please continue to pray for them to remain faithful. They have had plenty of struggles and some failures, but they are holding tight to Jesus!

Sister Raberta does amazing Navajo needlework rug making. Let us know if you are interested in purchasing some of her items or having a custom rug made.

All Tribes Gospel Outreach (ATGO)

This past summer we had the opportunity to hold a Prophecy and Revival Tent meeting in very capital of the Navajo Nation in Window Rock Arizona. This was our third summer working on the reservation. The need is great among the Navajo people. They have won our hearts.

Tony, Darah, and Jackson Varga have dedicated their lives to mission and have been working in Window Rock for 3 years as they answered the call to start a church plant there. To say they have been working hard is an understatement. They went from meeting in a transformed cargo trailer to a donated transformed mobile home which is now the church building. The last year has included tons of outreach and lots of preparation on the property (which they own, which is a miracle story in itself). They have reached out through health fairs, cooking classes, flee market ministry and Bible studies to name a few. With the help of locals members and many mission groups coming in they have cleared the property, put up fencing, and added 4 RV spots with full hook ups.

This past summer our team held a full-length prophecy seminar here. The tent was filled every night with truth-seekers. When it was all done the church was blessed with 4 newly baptized members. Many seeds were planted, and the church has had around 15 guests attending regularly in their new church building each week. They continue to nurture the seeds planted.

All Tribes Gospel Outreach (ATGO) is Tony and Darah’s ministry. They desire to preach the gospel to every nation, tribe, and kingdom and are doing their part in Window Rock. They are currently looking for missionaries. Mission minded people who feel the call to reach the Navajo people with the gospel and become full time workers in Window Rock. The work has started and is getting established. You can be a part of building and growing this church plant! Please pray about supporting this worthy ministry financially and with your prayers.

Please consider and pray about whether you know someone or are that someone that should come to this mission field right here in the United States to do full time mission work with the Navajo people.

How you can help:

  • Pray
  • Support Financially
  • Volunteer short term
  • Plan for your church or group to do a mission trip in Window Rock
  • Become a Full Time Missionary and church planter in Window Rock

They are praying for mission team who can join them to continue the work they have started. They may possibly be taking a call in 2019 to be able to better utilize Tony’s flying skills in the mission field. Currently he is a pilot for a medivac company on the reservation which makes them self-supporting. The need is great! Only 1 in 950 people on the reservation are part of the remnant movement, compared to 1 in 9 in Jamaica; 1 in 30 in Papua New Guinea, 1 in 123 in East Africa; and 1 in 152 in the Philippines. There is much work to be done. Please join in reaching this mission field right here in the United States!

Mission to India

Hundreds of Baptisms, Including many Pastors
By Sheri Dye

Tim Saxton, vice-president of White Horse Media Ministries, invited us to hold a series of meetings in India in 2018. Tim and his team on the ground in India had been working with upwards of 80 Sunday-keeping pastors that were interested in learning more about the Sabbath and the Adventist Church.

So, this past May, Wyatt Allen flew to Hyderabad, India and went further East to spend the better part of 2 weeks teaching and working with about 40 of these Sunday Pastors and their congregations. As a result of this series in May, heaven rejoiced to see 24 of those pastors being baptized and becoming Seventh-day Adventists along with 23 of their members.

But this was just part of the plan. The big plan was reserved for the fall where the rest of our team was planning on several full campaigns in the same area where Wyatt ministered.

Our fall team consisted of Matthew Hoormann, Sheri Dye and Pastor Neil Dye. We were to meet up with Joseph Davis and he became a part of the team and were to spend more than a month in this foreign land. October 22 we were scheduled to leave at 0600 but the plane suffered a malfunction and we were not able to leave on that plane. Satan was working from the start of our trip and didn’t give up when we arrived.

When we arrived in Manuguru, in Telangana State, we had many encounters with the police. Several times came to the motel in the middle of the night wanting to check our passports. They came to our meeting sites and said we were holding illegal meetings. But God blessed anyway!

Every night people would come to us for prayer and we began receiving reports of several receiving miraculous healing from the prayers offered. The needs were so great, and the faith of the people so strong God worked in their behalf.
At one village it was told that the area had been very dry. Rain had fallen all around that village, but they had received none.

The church members called a Bible worker named Hyma, to come and work with them. They would meet each night for prayer and worship and they also fasted. After 3 days the Lord sent the rain pouring down. The church members rejoiced at the blessings from heaven and gave glory to Him!

Pastor Dye spent three days studying the Three Angels’ Messages with the Sunday Pastors. Some of the challenges were not understanding the importance of keeping the Sabbath and the danger of wearing of jewelry (which is real problem in India). We made this a matter of urgent prayer that the Lord would help them to understand how vital these issues were. As a result of faithful Bible teaching and the prayers the church members at Matthew Hoormann’s site all accepted the Three Angels’ Messages and were baptized into the Adventist church. Not one soul turned away from God’s truth!
